moja is a Tokyo duo whose music must be experienced and felt — not only with the ears, but with the eyes and the whole body.
Masumi’s fiercely creative drums collide with Haru’s bass-and-voice command center, filling every space without a guitar or any other instrument. Formed in 2007, moja made its New York debut at CMJ that same year and placed third at the 2008 Global Battle of the Bands World Championship. The duo has since performed in more than 12 countries across Asia, Europe and North America.

02A vinyl-only second album, self-released and pressed in the UK. The original edition is sold out.
03Six songs recorded at The Park Studio in London, pushing the duo’s dance-music drive into a sharper, heavier form.
04Six compact, high-velocity tracks. The album was also issued on cassette with a download code; that edition is sold out.
05Recorded in London, with part of the drums captured inside a church: six songs balancing tight repetition with explosive motion.
06LATESTRecorded and mixed by the band and released worldwide by Overdrive Records, Italy: raw, abrasive and hypnotic.
Two digital singles released by MIDI Creative in November 2020. The paired artworks close the discography as a vivid visual diptych.
